About DCSD

Douglas County is many things to many people. It's also home to excellence in education and fantastic teachers who prepare Douglas County students to be successful. The Douglas County School District (DCSD) is Colorado’s third-largest school district, serving more than 67,000 students in preschool through twelfth-grade. DCSD has one of the highest graduation rates in the Denver metro area, with a four-year graduation rate of 90.1% in 2016. The average composite ACT score is 22.5.
