Perseverance Scholarship
Golf Tournament
The primary goal of the Perseverance Golf Tournament is to raise funds for the Perseverance Scholarship* for DCSD graduates, but it is also a great way to connect DCSD staff prior to the start of the 2026-27 school year.
Everyone had an amazing time at the Perseverance Golf Tournament held at Plum Creek Golf Club! While the primary objective of this annual event is to raise funds for the Perseverance Scholarship* for Douglas County graduates, it also served as a wonderful opportunity for DCSD staff to connect before the start of the 2026-27 school year.

PLUM CREEK GOLF CLUB
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our title sponsor, Denver Athletic, our breakfast sponsor, Academy Sports Turf, and our lunch sponsor, Total Welding, Inc. This year, the tournament successfully
raised nearly $17,500!
* Since 1988, the Perseverance Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to deserving high school students throughout Douglas County. Last school year, thirteen $2,000 scholarships were awarded to graduating DCSD seniors who were chosen by the scholarship committee. Recipients of these scholarships have overcome great obstacles during their school years and are determined to further their education after high school. Your participation will help fund this year's scholarships that will be presented to the graduating seniors at a special ceremony in May 2027.
